The Office Coordinator will manage all aspects of the daily operations of the visitor center and be the main front desk person - greeting all individual visitors and groups who walk through the front door. Other duties include bookkeeping, scheduling for events, assisting the Development Director with mailings when needed. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Manage the daily operations of the Center's front office to include: greeting visitors and explaining the facility, answering phones, assisting with canoe & event registration, closing financial books at end of each work day with the Operations Manager, keeping brochure racks filled, and ensuring that the Center is neat and tidy.
Learn POS system; enter and price new items for gift shop as they arrive; order drinks & snack; restock gift shop; keep up Swamp Sights and Sounds board.
Pay bills using on-line invoicing and Quicken and produce reports for reimbursement. With the Executive Director and Operations Manager, prepare annual budget; track government grants; prepare deposits; and EOM reports.
Assist the Director of Development with the processing of donation checks and mailings.
Provide additional assistance with Center events and projects as needed.
Associate's degree in and 2-3 years of professional experience in office administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Knowledge of accounting and administrative practices and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Friendly, outgoing, flexible and a team player.
Ability to multi-task a must, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
